It has been every week because the closing splash echoed throughout the pool at Kampala International School Uganda (KISU), but the recollections of the eleventh Uganda Aquatics National Swimming Championships have remained as vivid as they have been on that unforgettable Sunday afternoon.

Perhaps it was the roar of teammates celebrating from the poolside. Perhaps it was the emotion of swimmers touching the wall after months of relentless coaching. Or perhaps it was the sight of data tumbling one after one other.
