Woodball climaxed on the Gulu University college of Medicine throughout the 2026 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games II on Wednesday, fifteenth July.
After gruelling motion that concerned a variety of colleges, the motion winded down with the semi-finals and finals.
Entebbe Municipality’s Airforce S.S gained the boys’ class, after overcoming Mbarara High School (Chaapa) within the closing 3-0 to take gold.
Luzira S.S was third to complete with bronze.

Airforce’s captain Mark Mufuwa Muwanguzi was named as essentially the most helpful participant of the championship.
“We ready effectively for this championship and completely happy that we’ve got delivered effectively. I thank all the opposite teammates, coaches and the varsity administration for the assist” Muwanguzi remarked.

Girls:
The Most Valuable Player (MVP) was Emilly Tasumba from Luzira S.S.
Tasumba scored 49 strokes to win the person accolade.



In the group occasion, St Mark’s College Namagoma gained gold with St Joseph S.S Naggalama taking gold as Mengo S.S completed third for the bronze.
Rev. Canon Duncans Mugumya, the Commissioner on the Ministry of Education and Sports answerable for sports activities was the chief visitor throughout the closing ceremony, medal and trophies presentation.

Rev. Mugumya vowed to amplify the voice for woodball to be added to the FEASSA Games menu.
